Since a limousine is really just a car with an extra long wheelbase it is possible for almost any car to be converted into a limo, stretch limo, or even super stretch limo. The majority of limos and stretch limos are owned by limousine rental companies and, while elegant and incredibly comfortable, are somewhat commonplace in their appearance. There are, however, certain limousines owned by private individuals that are considered novelty limos. Examples of these exotic limousines include Corvette limos, Ferrari limos, Mini Cooper limos, and even Volkswagen Beetle limousines.
These types of limos are usually somewhat impractical but appeal to the private consumer for their unique design statement or over-the-top amenities. In today’s market, the sky is just about the limit when it comes to designing an exotic limo or stretch limo.
